Meet Miss HalleyHalley Carol Sageng recently completed her Bachelor of Music Education degree from Pittsburg State University with an emphasis in voice and elementary music. She believes that music is an inherent part of who we are as human beings and loves to watch little humans explore this art with voice, instruments, and dancing. Miss Halley has studied voice privately for 18+ years and has directed community and church youth choirs as well as the adult choir for her church. She has been involved in school and church choirs for more than twenty years and acted as section leader for the internationally touring choir from Pitt State.
Miss Halley is also very involved in theatre and dance. She recently made her Kansas City area debut in Annie Warbucks at Theatre in the Park. Miss Halley has performed with companies in South Dakota, Arizona, Missouri, Kansas, and Utah. She studied theatre at Truman State University before teaching youth theatre for East Valley Children's Theatre in Mesa, AZ and Youth Theatre at the U in Salt Lake City, UT. Miss Halley has chosen to open Shooting Stars Studio in an effort to combine her three favorite things: children, teaching, and the performing arts. |
